A 6-day/7 nights Women's New Years Yoga & Ayurveda Retreat, India, Dec 2020-Jan 2021

It is said that the flame of female wisdom and beauty grows, not dwindles, as she evolves through the stages of life.

Women around the world are subjected to mass conditioning with regards to their bodies and stage in the ageing process.

This often results in low self-esteem and impaired her role in society.

Now more than ever women are looking for direction in ALL of the phases of womanhood.

Join Rose Baudin and Emily Reed as they guide you through a 6-day women only immersion: the Nārīmokshāyana.

A DYNAMIC DUO of WOMANHOOD

Rose and Emily met in 2014 at their shared communal home space Vaidyagrama. Both have homes at the Ayurvedic community and are key members of the community/family.

They have travelled together, meditated, shed tears, laughed so hard their sides almost split, shared stories of lovers and life encounters. The NARI mokshayaana has been born as a celebration of womanhood and their deep friendship.

We call you women of the world to join us for these 6 days!

This is a time to redefine the parameters of the female as she moves through the ageing process; to share stories; discuss intimacy and sex in later stages of life; to create friendships across age ranges and begin what may become a ritual gathering of international women.

NARIMOKSHAYANA means woman (Nari), Mokshayana means journey to liberation.

Let this be a time to open doors of greater freedom in your life.

ABOUT ROSE

Rose is 72 years old and teaches asana, pranayama, meditation and philosophy in Australia and internationally.
She is a mother, has married twice and enjoys spending time with friends all over the world.
Her main home, when not travelling, is on the east coast of Australia in the rainforest in her “treehouse” jungle abode, taming the wild undergrowth, cooking and offering weekly yoga classes as well as Agni hotra ceremonies for her friends and students.

Rose left her US birthplace at the age of 22. She extracted herself from the conditioning of family and society that would have done its best to shoe horn her in to a 1970s mould for women in mainstream America. She headed to Asia in pursuit of knowledge, freedom and the art of living ethically and autonomously.

After spending years in Sri Lanka with her guru; she traveled to India where she married, became a mother and lived for 16 years. In 1986 she married again in Australia, built her current home and established herself as an international teacher. Rose’s life continues to transform and evolve to this day.

Today she shares her experience as a woman of the world. Rose is living proof that beauty, wisdom, strength, sensuality and joie de vive can increase in a women’s life as she ages. It is her hope to inspire ALL women to celebrate, respect and trust their ageing process.

ABOUT EMILY

Emily is born and bred British. Aside from teaching, working with clients, guiding retreats, courses, workshops and classes in London, Europe and internationally She spends time in the English Sussex countryside. She entertains friends, walks, cooks and enjoys her intimate relationships. At 40 years old dance, singing, working with crafts and sensual practices such as massage and sound are increasingly part of her past time repertoire.

Coming from a middle class, male dominant family she was educated privately in the UK at an English boarding school. She studied at a mainstream university and went on to do a post graduate in Law. In her early 20s she began to shift away from the assumed direction in which her life had been going. It took over a decade to move away from various relationships and careers in order to align more with the women she is today.

She is intrigued by society’s varying perspectives on women from youth through to a maturer age.
She is equally curious about the range of views women foster toward each other as they progress through the stages of life.

Today Emily continues to learn the full extent of her power in terms of strength and softness with wisdom and sensuality. Her experience and process so far is what she shares.
Her desire is to live to a healthy, ripe age where intimate relationships, joyful vocations and life fulfilment still thrive.
